What are 'Social Bookmarks'?
Each page within lupusuk.org.uk contains links 'Social Bookmarking' or 'Link Sharing' sites ... these can be found at the bottom of the page.
These links allow you to share, organise, search and manage bookmarks of web pages. You can share these bookmarks with friends and family, or just allow other users of these sites to see what you believe to be useful or important information. You can also access your bookmarked pages from any computer connected to the internet, not just your own.
In a social bookmarking system, users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share. These bookmarks are usually public, and can be saved privately, shared only with specified people or groups you feel may benefit from the links.
The sites do require you to register (so they can remember who you are and what you have bookmarked), but all are free to use. Each site does things slightly differently, so please use the links below to help determine which would work best for you ... and if you come across a page within the LUPUS UK site that you wish to remember or share with others just use the links at the bottom of the page to bookmark it!
