LUPUS UK Nurse Network
This self-supporting professional network group currently meets twice a year for any nurses with an interest in lupus patients. This friendly open group currently meets in London during October, and in Birmingham during April. LUPUS UK is the national registered charity for those with or linked to lupus (charity nos. 105160, SC039682), with more than 5,000 members and a number of regional groups across the UK. Our UK-wide network of local contacts give support to members, and provide advice for those with lupus symptoms who seek knowledge of the illness and possible diagnosis.

The charity offers a comprehensive range of booklets and factsheets on lupus, and can supply free of charge separate Information Packs for individuals, nurses and GPs. The LUPUS UK national magazine, LUPUS UK News & Views, is published on subscription three times yearly and carries regular articles on lupus. Publicity materials, leaflets, posters, a DVD for the newly diagnosed, media releases and more are always available from the charity’s National Office for better awareness about lupus in clinics, hospitals and public places.
