The official LUPUS UK cheering point for the Virgin Money London Marathon on 23rd April 2017 will be located as close as possible to the 22-mile marker as possible. We hope that you will be able to come and join us, helping to support our runners and raise awareness of lupus.
The cheering point is suitably stationed to allow us to see our runners twice – once when they pass the halfway point and again when they reach mile 22 and have just four miles to go!
The closest stations to access this point are Shadwell and Tower Gateway. Access from Limehouse may be difficult as it is positioned on the opposite side of the course. Expect the stations to be very busy on the day, so please allow sufficient time to travel.
Official spectator information for the day can be accessed on the Virgin Money London Marathon website HERE. This includes details of how to track runners and information about getting around on the day.
We are seeking volunteers to join our cheering point to help make it the loudest one on the day. LUPUS UK t-shirts in various sizes will be available for volunteers on the day.
If you plan on joining us, please email email@example.com.
