Frank Broughton took up writing after retirement and published his first detective thriller “Red Week” as an e-book in 2013 with all the profits from the sale being donated to LUPUS UK. Frank has now published a sequel “Black Hole”, and once again is donating all the profits to our charity. Frank’s daughter Susie (who was diagnosed with lupus in 2003) is a talented artist who has designed and produced the book cover.
“Black Hole” is available to purchase as a paperback or e-book from Amazon HERE.
Frank is now working on a third book in the Inspector Cruz series which he hopes to publish next year.
Inspector Cruz has been sent to take charge of a remote frontier post high in the Andes. There he learns that his long-time partner Detective Caldera has been shot while working on a murder case in remote Dos Rios province. Cruz is assigned to head the investigation and his determination to nail the killer eventually leads to a brutal climax in the depths of the “Black Hole”, an abandoned mine with an evil reputation.
