Adolescents (12-17 years old) needed for SLE Research Study

Acumen Healthcare is currently working with Worrell Inc., an independent research company specialising in healthcare to carry out a research study of a device for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

Who we are looking for?

Worrell Inc. are looking to speak to adolescents (12 – 17years old) who have been diagnosed with SLE and those who provide care for people with SLE, to attend their research facility to evaluate the use devices for administering medication at home.

What will you be doing?

During this study, participants will be introduced to an injector device and will be asked to inject into a training pad, so they will not actually need to inject themselves or anyone else.  Participants will be asked for their thoughts about the injection experience using the device. We are looking to speak to those with and without injection experience.

There are 2 sessions available, a 60 minute session and a 90 minute session.

You will receive £80 for the 60 minute session and £120 for the 90 minute session. The research will take place later on in the year due to current lockdown restrictions and will take place across the UK.

COVID Precautions

We ensure the safety of all participants is our upmost priority. All rooms are fitted with a plexiglass screen and the researcher and participant will be asked to wear a face mask at all times. All devices are new and will be only used one, all surfaces are disinfected between participants.

Donation

LUPUS UK will also receive a donation for each participant we are able to find.
