Medical Research Foundation Announce £900,000 Fund for Lupus Research

We are delighted to reveal that The Medical Research Foundation will make up to £900,000 in funding available for research on lupus and lupus-related conditions (such as vasculitis, myositis, Sjögren’s syndrome, autoimmune thyroid disease and serositis).

The Medical Research Foundation is inviting applications from UK-based, mid-career researchers who have the potential to be the research leaders of the future, to support research that will increase understanding of the disease mechanisms underlying lupus.

It is hoped that this funding may support research that will increase understanding of the disease mechanisms underpinning lupus, identify risk factors specifically linked to lupus, and improve diagnosis, treatment and management of the disease.

Applicants may apply for up to £300,000 over a maximum of a three-year period.

The funding competition is now open. To apply, please see the guidelines for applicants and application form on their website, HERE.
The completed application and any queries should be sent to: research@medicalresearchfoundation.org.uk
